RiderNav is a native Android navigation app for motorcyclists who plan their rides in advance. Import the route you built in your planner, mount the phone on the handlebars, and ride. From the first waypoint to the last, the app works through your route on its own — no confirmation dialogues, no taps while you're moving.
One idea: once the ride starts, the only thing you do is ride.
Your planner ends where the ride begins
A rider plans a route in a tool such as MyRouteApp, exports it, and expects the phone to follow it turn by turn, through every waypoint, in order. Most navigation apps break that expectation partway through. Some show a confirmation dialogue at every intermediate stop. Some require a tap on each waypoint. The result is an app that asks the rider to reach for the screen at the exact moment they are least able to.
RiderNav is built around one idea. Once the ride starts, the only thing you do is ride.
Built for the road, not the screen

Silent waypoint progression
This is the reason RiderNav exists. As you reach each waypoint, the app moves on to the next one by itself. Nothing appears on the screen to dismiss, and nothing waits for a tap. The voice guidance simply carries on to the next waypoint, so you keep both hands on the bars and your eyes on the road.
Your route, in the order you set it
RiderNav follows your waypoints in the order you planned and holds to that route for the whole ride. It does not chase live traffic or quietly send you a different way. If you leave the route, it guides you back onto it. The ride you get is the ride you planned.
Stop points and shaping points
Mark a waypoint as a stop point, such as a café or a fuel stop, and RiderNav holds you there and keeps guiding you back until you choose to move on. Leave a waypoint as a shaping point and the app passes through it, or skips it if you miss it. You decide which is which before you set off.
Voice guidance through your helmet
Spoken turn instructions play through the phone's audio, so a Bluetooth helmet communicator picks them up with no extra setup. The voice is produced on the device itself, so it keeps working even where there is no mobile signal.
Offline maps and routing
Download the map and routing data before you leave home. Once a route is downloaded, you can ride it with no mobile data — the map and guidance run entirely from data already on the phone. Downloads begin automatically on Wi-Fi, and a manage screen lets you keep or remove stored routes to reclaim space.
Made for the handlebars
Designed for a phone mounted on the bars. The controls are large enough to use in winter gloves, and the actions that matter take a deliberate press rather than an accidental swipe. The map follows the sun — light through the day, dark after sunset — so it reads well from morning ride to evening return. The screen stays awake for the whole ride.
Quiet by design
RiderNav posts no notifications and asks for no account. It requests only the location permission it needs in order to navigate, and it does not keep a record of where you have been. The app stays out of the way so you can concentrate on the road.
From plan to destination in four steps
Plan & export
Plan your route in your usual planner and export it as a Keyhole Markup Language (KML) file.
Open in RiderNav
It shows your route on the map, with every waypoint numbered and the total distance and estimated time.
Mark stops & download
Mark any stops, download the route for offline use if you want it, and press Ride.
Ride
RiderNav guides you through every waypoint in order, and moves on at each one by itself, until you arrive.
